Hey everyone! ^^ I've been on a bit of an escapade. I've been thinking, "I want to do THIS...but is it really THIS I need to do?" At first I thought maybe I can be able to go that direction so I can achieve my dream, which is to go to a foreign country and be able to touch people. At first I thought my heart longed for Japan. But after a heart-to-heart with my dad...someone who I really can respect and trust more than anyone in the world...I finally realize that I've been foolish when I wanted to go a starstruck path. I was being foolish and I wasn't seeing the real consequences of what might have happened if I didn't even bother reaching out to him.
Okay I'll cut to the chase: I want to teach English in South Korea. If there is anyone who is willing to give me some sites for tips and whatnot, I would greatly appreciate that very much. Otherwise, I can only ask that you guys pray for me and for the ones around me. I know I'm not the only struggling and trying to find myself. So while I'm trying to figure things out and grow up, please pray that my head will stay out of the clouds long enough for me to see what's really there.
Thank you for your time. *bows*

Mood:
Speechless
Anyway, I found this video on YouTube just now. It's a person who teaches ESL in S. Korea sharing his experiences:

Plus another article (mostly has good things to say, might be worth cross referencing with the YT video)

Not sure about Korea, but I imagine it is slightly less expensive for expats compared to Japan. Only slightly though, seeing as its an economic powerhouse in Asia.
But I really hope this helps you out. I'm rooting for you.
